Laura Davis is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LISW-CP) and co-owner of Amaryllis Counseling along with being the Director of Administration. She received her undergraduate and graduate degree from The University of South Carolina. Laura has over 10 years of experience working with diverse populations in various settings. Passionate about helping future therapists grow, Laura is also a Clinical Supervisor. She has a background of substance use treatment, working with adolescents in various inpatient and outpatient settings and extensive trauma training.

Laura’s therapy style is to help clients understand their core beliefs and how that guides behaviors and emotions. She believes in the therapeutic alliance to create trust, nurture empowerment and encourage clients to be the experts in their lives. Laura is trained in several trauma modalities such as EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy and Somatic Trauma Therapy.
